League Two high flyers Shrewsbury are upset banners will be delivered to Bury ahead of their potential promotion.

Town will go up from League Two if they beat the Shakers and Southend fail to win against Newport on Tuesday, but want to keep a lid on premature celebrations. "I know how people can use it as a motivational tool against you and the last thing we want is for confidence to get knocked out of us. It's a lack of due diligence." Shrewsbury are a point off leaders Burton but Mellon also played down any celebrations ahead of the game. He said: "We have work to do. It's about being focused and we can't even think about promotion."
