Morecambe have made their second signing of the day by bringing in Aaron Wildig from Shrewsbury.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who has only featured once for the promotion-chasing Shrews this campaign, will stay at the Globe Arena for the rest of the season and could make his debut at Carlisle on Saturday. Boss Jim Bentley told the club's official website: "Aaron is a player I have always liked. He will be a new face and give us a bit of extra strength in depth for the end-of-season run-in." Wildig, who spent time on loan at Kidderminster earlier this season, follows Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward through the door at the Shrimps.
