Elliott back with Cheltenham

Steve Elliott has returned to Cheltenham on a voluntary basis, just over a week after leaving by mutual consent.

Following the departures of manager Paul Buckle and his number two Rob Edwards, Elliott will assist caretaker boss Russell Milton. After four-and-a-half years at Whaddon Road, the player/coach departed as he aimed to find a new club and resume playing. The defender, who played 194 times for the Robins, has played in all four professional divisions in England during his 18-year career.
