Burton defender Ian Sharps has joined non-league Telford on loan for the rest of the season.
Sharps was placed on the transfer list towards the end of December and was quickly linked with a move to the Brewers' League Two rivals Mansfield, but a deal failed to materialise. The 34-year-old will now spend the remaining few months of his contract at Albion with Telford, who are fighting relegation from the Vanarama Conference. Sharps joined Burton in 2013 after a successful loan spell. He has made 134 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
