Buckle set for 'new start'

Cheltenham boss Paul Buckle feels Saturday's visit of Burton will be like a "new start" after a busy transfer deadline day.

The Robins brought in four new players on Monday with Eliot Richards, Denny Johnstone, Wes Burns and Jordan Wynter all arriving at Whaddon Road. With the club's league status still under threat, Buckle hopes his new recruits can help them "kick on" for the remainder of the season. "It was a really good day and now it's all about trying to get on the training field and getting them to work together," he told the club's official website. "These players have got to come in and know how we've been playing but also give us a goal threat." Buckle also revealed his delight at the balance of his new-look strikeforce, adding: "We were lacking in height up top and we get that with Denny. "I've tried to balance out the frontline with some goals and also some strength and power."
