Hartlepool have confirmed that defender Scott Harrison has signed a permanent deal with the club.

The 21-year-old arrived from Sunderland for his third loan spell at Victoria Park in January and the two clubs have agreed a deal that sees him commit his future to the League Two strugglers. Harrison told the club's official website: "It feels good to be at Hartlepool permanently now. "I just want to get cracking now and keeping on playing the way we have been, winning games and getting out of the trouble we're in at the moment. "I've committed myself to it now and I think all the rest of the players are so now we have to concentrate on climbing the table." Harrison, who has made 25 appearances for Pools, started out at Darlington and joined Sunderland in 2012. Pools signed Plymouth striker Marvin Morgan earlier on Monday, while midfielder Nicky Featherstone extended his contract and Mansfield recalled Rakish Bingham from his loan spell.
