Burton bring in Dutch forward

Burton have signed forward Abdenasser El Khayati from Dutch amateur club Kozakken Boys until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old, known as Nasser, began his career at PSV Eindhoven in 2008. He can play in several positions along the front line and has scored 10 goals in as many matches this season in Holland. Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told the club's official website: "He is a player that a lot of people have been looking at in Holland, he has been on trial at Reading and has done really well. "He came here to train with us for a few days, we liked him. He is a striker but can play on the wing. He is a creative player, somebody who sees a pass, somebody who can provide for the other striker. A little bit of a number 10 or a nine and a half. Something we haven't got so something a little different. "We hope he will fit in the squad very well as he is different than the other strikers. "He has some good link-up play and I hope it will take a lot of pressure off the other strikers. He can also come from the left and play on the right so he is very versatile."
