Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Adam McGurk can kick-start his season following his strike against York.
McGurk has often found himself on the bench since since Hasselbaink took charge in mid-November. But the 26-year-old made the most of his second-half appearance on Saturday by scoring his first goal since September, which earned the Brewers a late point, and Hasselbaink hopes it will put a spring in McGurk's step. "Hopefully he can take a lot of confidence because we need everybody on fire," the Dutchman told the Burton Mail. "Hopefully he can kick on now. He has that quality to get you something out of nothing and we need that. "I'm happy for him because he had a difficult time getting in the team and playing."
