York City have signed striker Emile Sinclair following his recent release by Northampton Town.
The 27-year-old forward came through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest and enjoyed successful spells at Macclesfield, Peterborough and Crawley before joining the Cobblers. Leeds-born Sinclair scored three goals in 34 appearances for Northampton but will now be available for York's home match against Burton on Saturday.
