Luton midfielder Solomon Taiwo has had his contract with the club cancelled by mutual consent.

Taiwo joined the Hatters in March 2013 but has been restricted to just 16 appearances during that time. The 29-year-old had spells out on loan with Dover and Aldershot during his stay at Kenilworth Road. Luton boss John Still told the club's official website: "He might not have been involved as much as he would have wanted last season, but Solomon still paid a small but significant role in last season's success - and that is something we should not forget. "I'd personally like to thank Solomon for his professionalism and performances during his time with us and wish him all the best in his future career." Meanwhile, Hatters striker Ross Lafayette has joined Conference Premier promotion chasers Woking on a month-long loan deal.
