Northampton striker David Moyo has left the club after having his contract terminated with immediate effect.

Moyo, currently on loan at Brackley Town, now becomes a free agent and he is expected to join the non-league club on a permanent basis. "David is a good lad and we wish him well," said Cobblers boss Chris Wilder. "His contract was up here in the summer and he is behind some of the other strikers here in the pecking order, but he leaves with our best wishes for the future." Moyo, 20, signed a one-year deal with Northampton in the summer after progressing from the club's youth system. The Zimbabwe-born striker made 18 appearances for the club, the majority of which were from the substitute's bench, scoring twice.
