Former Colchester midfielder Marcus Bean has agreed to join Wycombe on an 18-month deal.
The 31-year-old, who has spent a large bulk of the season on loan at Portsmouth, was released from his contract by the U's and now links up with former QPR team-mate and current Chairboys manager Gareth Ainsworth. "I'm really pleased that Marcus wanted to join us," Ainsworth told Wycombe's official website. "I know him well from my QPR days and I've watched his career progress ever since. He's always played at a higher level and he'll add another dimension to the midfield. "He's been doing really well on loan at Portsmouth - he wins headers, he wins tackles and he's a great lad who will fit right in to the culture we've got here."
