Carlisle boss Keith Curle has been impressed by the response of Kyle Dempsey and Brad Potts since their contract talks were put on hold.
Dempsey, 19, and Potts, 20, who have both attracted interest from clubs higher up the league pyramid, have failed to agree terms with the League Two club and negotiations have been shelved until Christmas. But the uncertainty over their futures has had no adverse effect on the players, according to Curle. He told the News & Star: "They are bubbly, lively, integral characters of the football club. "You would probably say they are not the most vocal - they gravitate towards each other, the 'boy band' still stick together - but there's good harmony in the changing room. "Have I noticed anything different about them? Not at all. In training they have been exceptional, especially Kyle, who every day gives his all. "With Pottsy we've had to limit training because of injury he has come back from, but when he does train, he enjoys playing his football."
