Robinson not focusing on future

Portsmouth's on-loan defender Paul Robinson insists he is not looking past January despite facing an uncertain future.

The 32-year-old's temporary deal from Millwall expires in the new year, and Pompey boss Andy Awford wants to keep him at Fratton Park. But Robinson told The News: "Obviously, we have had a few discussions along the way, but I'm just trying to play as many games as I can and give a good account of myself. "Whatever happens I will be in a good place in January. "My (Millwall) contract is up in the summer so my next move is a big one. I am 32 as well so it is one of those stages in your career that is important. "Having been at Millwall so long it was always going to be quite a big change coming here, but it has been seamless. I feel I have fitted in here and it's a great bunch of lads and a good club. "I'm really enjoying my time at Portsmouth playing week in, week out."
