Hartlepool loanees Scott Harrison and Charlie Wyke could both return to the club after heading back to their respective parent clubs.

Central defender Harrison and striker Wyke have been regular starters for Hartlepool and manager Paul Murray would welcome the pair back at the club when the January transfer window opens. "I'd like to thank both Sunderland and Middlesbrough for their help in loaning us Scott and Charlie," Murray told the club's official website. "It's been great having them around the club and I would certainly be interested in bringing them back here if the opportunity arose in the future." Harrison has completed his second loan spell at Victoria Park after making 14 appearances since returning to the club in August. The 21-year-old featured six times for Pools at the end of last season. Wyke, 21, who missed Saturday's home defeat to York due to a knee injury, scored four goals in 14 appearances for Pools, for whom he spent six months with on loan during the 2012/13 season.
