Arthur's Woking stay extended

AFC Wimbledon winger Chris Arthur has extended his loan spell at non-league Woking until January 4.

The 24-year-old joined the Cards on an initial one-month deal in August and has helped them climb to fourth in the Vanarama Conference table. Dons boss Neal Ardley told the club's official website: "(Woking manager) Garry Hill contacted me and said that he wanted to keep Chris, and the player himself wants to stay there and play regular football until January. "It was not something I was desperate to do, but when you've got a player who wants to stay there and play games then you have to look at it. "We also felt that it would give us more money in the pot to bring in another player when the loan window reopens."
