York boss Nigel Worthington feels his side aren't getting the rub of the green at home at the moment after a 0-0 draw with Southend.
In a game of few chances, it was the Minstermen who went closest to grabbing all three points with Michael Coulson seeing his effort blocked on the line in the closing stages.
The hosts are now unbeaten in four league games and Worthington feels it is just a matter of time before the results come right at home.
"The match was similar to the Cheltenham game as you are playing against teams who have been in and around the league for a long time," he said.
"I can't fault the players and I thought we played very well.
"The commitment and work ethic was of the highest quality but we just can't get the rub of the green at the moment at home to get us over the line. We're working at it and that's a good thing.
"We had three or four half chances that, on a good day, we might have stuck in the net, but apart from that I was very pleased. It's another clean sheet and we've got to keep using our imagination in the final third to create the chances and when we are doing that we will score."
