Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander was gutted to see his promotion-chasing side fall to an injury-time defeat at home to York.
Wes Fletcher struck a last-gasp winner for the Minstermen to end a five-game unbeaten run for Alexander's side, coming after substitute Mikael Mandron had cancelled out Conor McLaughlin's own goal.
"The goal before the break has given them something to hang on to," he said. "Even so we've grabbed a goal and had chances to score a winner.
"Once we've scored there should only be one side going on to win it.
"Even if we don't take our chances we should come back in with the points.
"We've conceded two poor goals to make sure that didn't happen."
