Graham Alexander admits Fleetwood were disappointed to leave League Two leaders Scunthorpe with just a point after Monday's 0-0 draw.
Third-placed Town had the better of the game and missed a golden opportunity to take all three points when Steven Schumacher had his second-half penalty saved by Scunthorpe goalkeeper Sam Slocombe.
Fleetwood would have leapfrogged the Iron into top spot with a win and although Alexander felt it was a missed opportunity, he reflected on another good away performance after Saturday's 4-2 victory at Burton.
"We have a disappointed dressing room in there, but really the lads have no need to be," said Alexander.
"We have just completed two diffficult away games and come away with four points - so we have got to be really happy with that.
"Scunthorpe are a good team, who have been on a very good run, and we are disappointed not to have come away with all three points.
"A lot of individuals have contributed to a fantastic team performance out there.
"We have been striving for consistency of results and performances and have had a good January. We are now five matches unbeaten.
"There is still a long way to go, but if we approach every game like we did here then I'm sure we will be all right."
