Alex Marrow says he had no qualms about returning to Fleetwood when the opportunity arose.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at Highbury last season, making 22 appearances for the Cod Army, and returned from new club Blackburn on a deal until the end of the season.
He marked his return with the second goal in the 2-0 win against Hartlepool and is now hoping to help Graham Alexander's side - who are currently four points off the top of the table - earn promotion to League One.
He told Fleetwood's official website: "I enjoyed working with the manager last time and I know what the club is all about and that they want to go places, so I wanted to be a part of that.
"If you put a few results together in this league you're flying, but nobody's really pulling away at the moment. We'll keep doing our job though and that's all we can really do."
