Neal Ardley wants AFC Wimbledon to take their battling FA Cup display into next weekend's League Two meeting with Portsmouth.
The Dons gave in-form League One side Coventry an almighty fright in Friday night's televised first-round clash before eventually bowing out 3-1.
But they now have the rest of the week to prepare for the visit of a Pompey side who have also a midweek trip to Newport to contend with.
"It was disappointing to go out because we all wanted to go through to the second round," said Dons boss Ardley.
"But we have a nice clear week now and we must make sure we produce those performance levels against Portsmouth."
