Teenager returns to Tykes

Barnsley's teenage midfielder Jordan Clark has returned to the Championship club following the end of his loan spell at Scunthorpe.

Clark was drafted in by Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws at the start of the season as cover for injured pair Etienne Esajas and Andy Welsh. But the 19-year-old made just one appearance for Laws' side during his stay at Glanford Park, in the home win over Mansfield in August when he came on as an 88th-minute substitute for Welsh. Clark, a product of the Oakwell academy, has made a total of six appearances for Barnsley since making his debut against QPR in April 2011.
