Academy graduate Jack Connors has penned his first professional contract with League Two club Dagenham.

The 18-year-old left-sided defender started his career at Fulham before moving to Dagenham's academy set-up and will now look to push for a place in manager Wayne Burnett's first-team plans.

Burnett told the Daggers' official website: "Jack has come through the Academy with us and has impressed me with his performances and attitude.

"I hope he can carry on working hard and continue his progression with the club."

Connors has signed a one-year deal at Victoria Road.
