Davids braced for crunch clash

Edgar Davids is gearing up for a "massive" game in Barnet's bid to avoid relegation from League Two.

The Bees crashed 2-0 to Chesterfield on Saturday and are now just two points above the relegation zone with three matches to play. The first of Barnet's big tests comes on Saturday against fellow strugglers Torquay, who are out of the bottom three on goal difference alone. And player boss Davids has left his side in no doubt about the importance of the trip to Plainmoor. He said: "We have to start again to prepare ourselves for Saturday's game against Torquay United. "We always go for the win. How we win is not important as long as we get it. "Torquay, like us, need to win so it is going to be a massive game for both teams. "I would like it to be the crucial game in our survival campaign but we still have another two matches after that."
