Chesterfield manager Paul Cook hailed Tommy Lee after the goalkeeper's heroics paved the way for a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers. Lee made superb save to deny Rovers striker Eliot Richards before second half goals from Jay O'Shea and Armand Gnanduillet secured the points. "I could sit here and praise Tommy Lee but I would be here all night," said Cook. "He's a top goalie and top goalies make good saves. "When you are building a team and looking to go forward you have a chance if you have a top keeper. "We are a club that expects to get promoted and expects to be at the top end of the division. Unfortunately we aren't and for us to get there we have to have good players and a lot of ours are and they must turn up." He added: "It's mathematically possible for us to go up with nine games to go and I believe, everyday I think we are going to get promoted and I will drive this club forward as best I can. "The result at Cheltenham hurt, (a 1-0 defeat on Tuesday night) the 92nd minute goal was not what we deserved so to bounce back against a very strong Bristol Rovers team is a very important result."
