Kuffour wants more of the same

Wycombe striker Jo Kuffour hopes the goals will start to flow after opening his account for the club in his 17th appearance.

The former Torquay and Gillingham man was the matchwinner against Chesterfield on Saturday to end a run of 1,147 minutes without a goal since joining the Chairboys. And the 31-year-old hopes that chipped finish will be the first of many for Gareth Ainsworth's men. He told the Bucks Free Press: "I needed one of them. It was playing on my mind a little bit. It doesn't normally but it was a long time since I last scored. "As a striker you always get annoyed when you're not scoring goals and been working hard in training. "All I can do is keep believing and I want to thank God that I finally got the opportunity to score. I hope I can get many more."
