Bradford boss Phil Parkinson claims Nahki Wells is back to his best after the striker's double downed struggling Aldershot 2-0.
The Bermudan international scored twice in the first half, taking his tally to 10 league goals, to condemn the Shots to their first defeat in five games - maintaining their place at the foot of League Two. But Parkinson believes Wells' work-rate was the difference after the 22-year-old ended his three-game dry spell in front of goal. "He was back to his best and creating opportunities with his persistence," said Parkinson. "He's a pest, and when he's a pest and he closes people down and creates opportunities for himself - that's when he's at his best. "No game is ever easy, Aldershot haven't lost too many players from the team that was doing really well last year, we know they've struggled to score goals but we also know they've been fighting for their manager. "All the reports we've had are that they've been rolling up their sleeves and competing, so we knew we'd have to be strong to get the result. The professionalism of the team is very good, and I'm so pleased with the lads. We said the crowd here would be behind them for 20 minutes and after that there was going to be edginess because they are near the bottom of the league."
