Rotherham striker Kieran Agard has earned the praise of manager Steve Evans after his heroics in the 1-0 win over Plymouth Argyle.
Agard, 23, who joined the Millers on a free transfer in the summer, turned in his first goal in a red-and-white shirt to earn a deserved three points on Saturday after coming on as a second-half substitute in the League Two encounter at the New York Stadium.
"Kieran has shown us he is really keen to get on the pitch and you could see what the goal meant to him. He's like that when he scores a goal in training," Evans said.
"We took a chance to win the game by putting Kieran on and it worked.
"He was excellent, he is someone who gives his best every day and loves playing for Rotherham United. Everyone at the club was delighted for him."
