League Two basement club Barnet have gone double Dutch after appointing Ulrich Landvreugd as their assistant coach.
The former Ajax player links up with Holland legend Edgar Davids, who moved to the Underhill Stadium last week as joint-head coach alongside Mark Robson.
Landvreugd, who had a brief spell with Ipswich before an injury ended his playing career, will work alongside Kenny Brown with the new Under-21 development squad.
Bees academy manager James Thorn told the club's official website: "I am delighted to welcome Uli as part of our coaching team here at Barnet FC.
"This is as a result of our recently achieved status as a Category Two Academy, the only one in League Two, which requires the formation of a separate Under-21 squad and an increase in contact time across all age groups.
"The requirement for well-qualified, experienced coaching staff is essential and we are searching Europe to find the best available to help educate and develop our young players."
