Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee plans to extend goalkeeper Neil Etheridge's loan spell until Christmas.

The 22-year-old has made five appearances for Rovers since arriving on an initial one-month deal from Fulham.

McGhee has been suitably impressed with the Philippines international and revealed after Saturday's draw at Burton that Etheridge is set to extend his stint at the Memorial Stadium.

"His one-month loan spell from Fulham will be extended and he will be with us until Christmas," said McGhee.
