Davies puts faith in Hanson

Bradford defender Andrew Davies believes James Hanson is a key player in this season's promotion push.

Despite being overtaken by fellow striker Nahki Wells in the scoring charts, Davies views Hanson as the main weapon in their arsenal but admits he's got to rediscover his scoring touch. The 24-year-old has gone four starts since his last goal after setting his sights on reaching 20 goals for the first time in his career. "Hans is getting better and better and maturing as a person as well. He needs to be our main goal threat," Davies told the Telegraph & Argus. "Strikers are judged on goals and he's scored a few this season. But I'm sure he'll admit he could have had a lot more than he has. "If we're going to go up this year, and that's what we all want, then he needs to be scoring the goals. That's the pressure he is under as our centre forward."
