Influential skipper Doug Loft has dealt League Two side Port Vale a huge injury blow.
Loft faces around a month on the sidelines after hobbling off with a calf problem early in the second half of Saturday's 2-0 league win at Exeter. "Doug has pulled his calf, so we're obviously disappointed with that," said Adams, who is operating with a small squad while the club remains in administration. "He is an integral part of our squad and he can play in numerous positions as the fans know, but we'll miss him for a few weeks now."
