Northampton manager Aidy Boothroyd saluted giant striker Adebayo Akinfenwa after his goal sank struggling Dagenham 1-0.
Akinfenwa slid in to head home Chris Hackett's cross five minutes into the second half as the Cobblers ended a run of eight away games without a win.
It was only the 30-year-old striker's third goal in 15 appearances, but his manager was thrilled with his contribution.
Boothroyd said: "Ade's just clinical in those kind of situations. He muscles his way into position and he knows exactly where the goal is.
"It was a deserved reward for another tireless performance from the big man. I'm delighted for him and I know the fans are loving him being with us.
"He just creates so many headaches for defenders. He's not the most agile, he'll admit that, but he knows where that goal is."
