Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth felt his side found a bit of magic in their 1-0 win over Barnet at the Recreation Ground on Tuesday.

Craig Reid gave the Shots their first League Two victory since the opening day of the season with his third goal of the season. "We have been working hard but without the excellence and finesse - there was nothing wrong with the effort but there was that bit of brilliance in the final third we were lacking and we found it," Holdsworth said. "I was delighted with everyone involved because I thought they were excellent and we just had to wait for that little bit of quality, and it came in the goal. "The clean sheet is testament to the defending and desire from the back five and the amount of clean sheets we have says it all. We will prepare now for Accrington and we go there with confidence that we can defend and now also score goals."
