Barnet's relocation from Underhill to Harrow has moved a step closer, with local council officers recommending the switch.

The Bees want to play their home matches at The Hive, where they currently train, after announcing earlier this year they were leaving their ground of 105 years.

The move requires permission from Harrow Council to play at The Hive from the start of 2013/14.

And officers are believed to have recommended the club is given initial approval to use the site for 10 years until the end of the 2022/23 season, although there is already a 125-year agreement between the council and Barnet to use the site for training.

The final decision will be made on Thursday July 19.
