Rochdale have agreed a deal to sign Peter Cavanagh but have also revealed Nicky Adams is joining Crawley for an undisclosed fee.
Cavanagh was out of contract at Fleetwood and will now reunite with John Coleman and Jimmy Bell having spent seven years with them at Accrington. The 30-year-old, who is happy at either right-back or left-back, will pen a one-year deal on July 1. Meanwhile, Dale have agreed an undisclosed fee with Crawley for midfielder Adams. He has agreed personal terms and passed a medical and will sign a two-year deal.
