Torquay manager Martin Ling has made versatile midfielder Chris McPhee available for transfer.
The 29-year-old returned to Plainmoor last summer after a four-year absence but found his first-team opportunties limited in the second half of the season.
Ling told the club's official website: "Chris has been transfer listed and it is a case of looking at the balance of the squad.
"I feel it would be best for him to move on. For someone at the age of 29, Chris needs to be playing regularly.
"I feel it would be better for him to move on to a club where he is deemed to be a first pick.
"He has gone from a bench-player with a couple of starts to someone out of the squad. A player of his age would want more than that and I want more than that for him."
