Jack Midson is in talks with AFC Wimbledon about extending his stay at the League Two club after an impressive season.
Midson has been a huge success during his first season with the Dons after arriving from Oxford last summer, scoring 20 goals for Terry Brown's team.
The 28-year-old striker's exploits have caught the attention of other clubs but boss Brown revealed that the Dons have opened negotiations with Midson about a new deal.
"Jack is having talks with the club as we speak with regard to extending his contract. He is meeting chief executive Erik Samuelson, looking to extend that," Brown told the South London Press.
