Scott: I need winners

Andy Scott was critical of Rotherham's attitude against Barnet as the Millers fell further behind in the race for the play-offs.

Barnet had lost four League Two games on the spin but broke that run as Scott's side needed a Ben Pringle equaliser to cancel out Mark Byrne's free-kick in a 1-1 draw. The hosts were then reduced to 10 men after 65 minutes. Scott said: "I need men at this football club, I need winners and it's about time the winners at this club did something about the ones who don't want to be winners. "From the moment I came to this club I've wanted players to have the ball at their feet, if they're scared to do it or don't want to then they're not going to be here much longer. I don't want players who are nearly good enough, I want players who are good enough. "Once you've got possession of the shirt, that's like your home and if someone's trying to take the shirt off you, it's like someone trying to break into your house, steal your car keys, money and jewellery. "It's your livelihood and I'd be fighting tooth and nail to keep that shirt. I don't want to be surrounded by people who don't want to be winners."
