Paolo Di Canio hailed striker Paul Benson after his first-half double guided Swindon to a 2-0 victory at home to Accrington.
Benson's 98th and 99th goals of his career helped the Robins to a club-record ninth league win in a row as they maintained their place at the top of League Two - a point ahead of Cheltenham with two games in hand.
Di Canio said: "Paul Benson is a great player. He is very professional and a fantastic athlete.
"He is 32 years old but you can see with how hard he works and the way he plays that he has looked after himself well.
"He is very toned and his muscles are strong. He is a great example and wonderful role model to the rest of my players.
"I was not surprised to see him score two goals because he is also a great finisher. I would have him in any team I managed."
