Pitman fumes as Bulls fumble

Hereford boss Jamie Pitman was left counting the cost of the mistakes his side made in their 2-1 defeat to Swindon on Saturday.

Paul Caddis' penalty and Paul Benson's strike looked to have secured the win for Paolo Di Canio's side at Edgar Street before a spirited fightback from the Bulls, who reduced the deficit with a powerful shot from midfielder Rob Purdie. But the visitors held on for three crucial points in League Two. Pitman said: "If you give goals away like we did today, obviously it is going to cost us. "Our game plan went well and limited them to very few chances. "But we had a lot and should have taken them like they have, but when you give goals away like we did it is always going to be difficult. "The momentum was with us and they only had 10 to 15 minutes throughout the game when the momentum was with them, and I thought we were more of a threat than they were. "That's the frustrating side of it and we are disappointed not to have got something out of the game against a side who are flying high."
