Manager Martin Ling has expressed his delighted after Torquay soared to fourth in League Two following a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury.

Central defender Mark Ellis seemed to get the final touch to help recalled target man Taiwo Atieno's 68th-minute goalbound header over the line in Saturday's clash at Plainmoor. Ling said: "I have watched the video twice now and Taiwo Atieno heads it into the ground and Mark Ellis takes a big swipe at it and I don't know whether he touches it or not. I don't really care, all I know it's 1-0. "All I do know is that we have got another win under our belts and it's against a side that are going to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. "I don't know who will be in the top three but I think that Shrewsbury will be top-seven and people will be talking about us as a top-seven side now as well. "There's still an awful long way to go until the end of the season."
