Boss Martin Ling insists Torquay's promotion bid will not be affected by a string of away games.
The Gulls have 10 remaining away fixtures and eight at Plainmoor, starting with the visit of Shrewsbury this weekend.
However, Ling feels Torquay's style of play can be effective on the road - a suggestion backed up by five wins from their last seven away fixtures.
"Teams have to come at you when you are away from home, and the spaces tend to be bigger for you to play," he told Western Morning News.
"We don't set out purely to play on the counter-attack, but we have proved we are effective doing that. We encourage the players to pass the ball and that's conducive to getting away wins.
"We've played well on the road recently and I'm not worried about the fact that we've got more games away."
