Steve Tully has backed Exeter to continue a familiar trend and finish the League One season with a flourish.
The veteran defender has been a regular in the Grecians' backline this season, making 31 appearances and helping the Devon club to 18th in the table. After the excitement of last term, when Exeter finished an agonising single point short of the play-offs, it has been a challenging five months at St James Park. But Tully insisted he and his team-mates have it in them to accelerate through until May. "It's a testing time for us but we've be on the up recently after we didn't have the best of starts," he said. "We've always finished strong under Paul Tisdale towards the end of the season and we're looking at this month to be pushing on and finishing as strongly as we can. "We need a couple more wins to start pushing us away from the relegation zone and I'm pretty confident we can do that."
