Shane Cansdell-Sherriff has praised Shrewsbury's defensive record, saying it puts "negative thoughts" in their opponents' minds.
The Shrews have the joint-second best defensive record in the division having conceded a meagre 20 goals in their opening 22 games, and the Australian defender believes it has a significant effect on the opposition's mentality.
He told the Shropshire Star: "We're very happy with that record because it's one of the things to pride yourself on as a defender.
"It's seven clean sheets in our last 10 and that gives us a great starting point to go on and win.
"Other teams see that record, they see that we are difficult to break down and it puts negative thoughts in their minds."
