On-loan Swindon striker Ronan Murray hopes the Christmas period offers him the chance to break into Paolo Di Canio's first team.
The Irishman has made just three appearances for the Robins since moving to the County Ground in November, but after opening his goalscoring account at Southend last week, the Ipswich loanee is hoping to make a greater contribution in the coming weeks.
He told the Wiltshire Gazette & Herald: "Injuries or anything could happen and you just hope you take your chance when you get in, and hopefully I'll do that.
"It's about trying to get in the first 11 and getting on the pitch, because I can't really do anything on the bench.
"I really want to and I'd do anything in training to do that."
