Crawley boss Steve Evans may look to turn Jon-Paul Pittman's loan into a permanent deal if the striker can prove his fitness.
Pittman returned to Crawley on loan from Oxford earlier this season but injuries have restricted him to just four appearances so far.
However, he came off the bench to set up Josh Simpson's winner against Rotherham last week and is eligible to play against Redbridge in the FA Cup on Saturday.
"He's had it tough because he's been injured a bit of the time, he's had a little hamstring and then a little groin injury and then he wasn't very well," Evans told the Crawley Observer.
"We sold him when we needed money and we've brought him back, and if we could keep him fit then we might look to do something in January but that's a long time away yet."
