Pesch lauds Brewers strikers

Manager Paul Peschisolido believes Burton's strikers are the reason why they currently occupy a League Two play-off spot.

The Brewers are already well on their way to eclipsing last year's goal haul of 56, having netted 29 times in the 18 league games played so far. Burton's forward line has been spearheaded by Justin Richards, who has struck 10 goals in 15 starts, and Billy Kee who has nine goals in as many starts. Peschisolido told the Burton Mail: "I've always thought this division to be much of a muchness, and if you've got players who can score goals on a regular basis you've got a chance of winning every game you play. "Obviously there are days where things don't quite work out, but happily for us those days have been few and far between this season. "We're not that much different squad-wise from last season, but we're scoring a lot more goals and that's made a huge difference in terms of the points we've picked up."
