Sanchez slams slack strikers

Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez believed his side created the better opportunities despite slumping to a 1-0 loss at Hereford.

On-loan striker Nathan Elder scored his first goal in Hereford colours to lift the Bulls out of the bottom two, flicking home Nicky Featherstone's corner in the 66th minute. The Bees now sink into the bottom places in npower League Two, and Sanchez said: "I am disappointed because I thought we had more chances than Hereford. "But we gave away a corner and their lad (Elder) has got in front of one of our defenders, but even then we had a chance to clear it on the line but it went in. "So I am disappointed that we haven't got something from the game because we had more efforts on goal. "We have got to beat teams like Hereford to get away from the bottom which we are now in."
