Midfielder out for up to three months with a broken leg

Accrington Stanley midfielder Ian Craney is facing up to three months on the sidelines after breaking his leg in training. Craney, who recently made his 200th appearance for the club, suffered the injury ahead of Friday night's League Two encounter with Cheltenham Town. Stanley have confirmed the 29-year-old will likely be out until the New Year and his absence will be a blow to John Coleman's side. Meanwhile, the game against Cheltenham could see Stanley boss Coleman hand three loan players their first starts for the club. Striker James Spray, from Wolves, and midfield pair Will Hatfield and Luke Dobie are all bidding to feature against the Robins.
